Robyn @ Club Nokia
The only word that comes to mind when I think about Robyn’s performance a couple nights ago is “euphoric.” Robyn’s energy was intoxicating, and everyone in the crowd was feeling it. Watching Robyn perform, it’s obvious that she feels every word she sings; and looking at various faces in the crowed, it seemed as though everyone could relate to her songs, that they maybe even felt these songs were written specifically for them. And with songs like Dream On, who could blame them. If you have ever experienced a breakup, or felt somewhat out of place, you may feel the same way if you get the chance to be in the crowd at a Robyn show.
Not only were Robyn’s vocals and energy on point, but her dance moves were amazing too! I’d seen Robyn perform on a few TV shows here and there, and while I always have admiration for her, I wasn’t ever terribly impressed with what I’d seen on TV. But seeing her live was completely different, I didn’t have one complaint the entire night. Her passion for her fans and her music is undeniable, Robyn is truly talented and knows how to speak through her music.
